Multi-View Inc, a long time leader in promoting World Class Hospice, has relentlessly promoted excellence through establishing Financial and Operational Standards and benchmarking against organizational peers. As the enactment of legislated reimbursement cuts to the Hospice Medicare Benefit draws ever closer, it is easy to become distracted, lose leadership alignment and feel overwhelmed by data and reports.

With the introduction of The Model, Multi-View Inc provided a blueprint for operating a hospice as an integrated, coherent and coordinated system. The Model forces a hospice to define itself, measure performance and challenge itself to be an ever-improving organization. The Model is the intentional design of a hospice culture that simultaneously balances purpose and financial realities.

Years of experience assisting, observing and measuring hospices has led Multi-View Inc to the belief that the culture of a hospice is the heart of the matter…and it will be the inability of many hospices to change culture that will be their demise in future years. Using proven methods, the Results Oriented Coaching Team provides the guidance, structure and tools of accountability that support moving the Model from concept to reality within the agency.

Initially focusing on the essential step “Alignment of Systems”, the Results Oriented Coach works with senior leaders to clearly define operational goals for the hospice across seven dimensions; People, Finance, Service, Quality, Growth, Compliance and Community. A good Model will include financial, operational and quality measures.

Using proven concepts from change management and organizational excellence thought leaders such as John Kotter, Peter Singe, Patrick Lencioni and Stephen Covey, the Results Oriented Coaching Team has developed practical tools and methods that improve adoption of the Model within a hospice.

Like a personal trainer for organizational excellence, the Results Oriented Coach provides an objective assessment on Model implementation, reinforces use of benchmarking, comprehensive Model reports, and helps develop accountability for results within the leadership team.

By combining the insight of the MVI Model with the hands on, “how-to” implementation expertise of the Results Oriented Coach – a hospice greatly increases the rate of Model adoption within the hospice which in turn produces desired outcomes more quickly.
