The CEO Executive Business Program

The CFO and Clinical Leader Programs have been as effective and successful as anything MVI has ever done. However, just getting the CFO and Clinical Leaders on the same page is not enough. The CEO needs be to “bought-in” to the same business mindset and drive the initiatives. This specially designed course puts the CEO on the same page and addresses the unique BUSINESS problems and challenges of the top leader. The course is an “executive level” business program tailored specifically for the hospice CEO.

The hospice CEO must set the pace and establish the overall strategic and sometimes tactical direction of the organization. This 2-day advancement program addresses these needs. Competitive pressures, probable decreased reimbursement, technology dilemmas, clinical staffing shortages, and other issues face the hospice CEO. The program shares much of the knowledge of the CFO and Clinical Leader Programs, but directs it from the CEO perspective. The content of the program comes from Andrew’s experience over the last 15 years of working with CEOs in the business areas of hospice. CEOs will have 4 attempts to score 100% on the special exam to pass the course. CEOs are expected to solve hospice scenarios and know key operational metrics as well as their Clinical Leaders and CFO.

Today, hospice reimbursement is excellent. It is important to take advantage of our current environment to build reserves. Participants will learn what measures should be, how to create models of care, what reports should be used, how to interpret the situations with predictive insight of the future & formulate strategies, and how to influence others to execute positive action. The EVIDENCE of an effective CEO is in the numbers!

Participants will undergo a sequence of testing, evaluation, training, and retesting until the subject matter is mastered, not unlike the CFO and Clinical Leader Programs. A single comprehensive test is given. Once a question of the exam is successfully completed, it is no longer necessary to be retested on the question in subsequent testing periods. It is desired that all participants pass.

The difficulty of the program is relative to the talents, preparation, and skills of the individual. Successful participants should feel EMPOWERED and CONFIDENT in what they KNOW. This is a difficult program and upon completion, participants should have a great sense of achievement. The cost of the 2-day program is $2,000 per participant.
