Andrew Reed, CPA: He is perhaps the most influential hospice financial leader in the country. He has worked with 400+ hospices and has helped create some of the most financially successful hospice models ever.
Malene Davis, MBA, MSN: Malene’s NFP hospice has averaged a 17% net operational margin over the last 10 years! This does not include any community support! This incredible track record was accomplished without compromising quality of care. Malene is also the chair-elect of the NHPCO Board of Directors.
Perry Fine, MD: Perry is one of the most recognized and respected physicians in the hospice world… and one that understands the business of hospice. Perry is the Medical Director for NHPCO.
Tough Training ProgramsMVI Training Programs are intense advancement systems with ultra high expectations of participants. Normally, participants must successfully answer every question correctly to pass the program. These programs are not cheap. There is great incentive to walk away with an MVI plaque… as it means something. We care if people don’t successfully complete our programs. But we don’t care enough to compromise our standards just to fill classes. The instructors are carefully selected for PROVEN results and dynamic presentation skills. They are the BEST in the hospice world. A great learning experience that impacts deeply, is not only about the content... it is about learning from being in the presence of someone who has really done it…
Based on the smashing success of the MVI CFO Program, the MVI Clinical Leader Program is an intense 3-day training system designed to instill the necessary mindset and technical competencies into motivated individuals that want to be "Super Hospice Clinical Leaders". This program is all about the BUSINESS of hospice. Participants will have 6 opportunities to pass the 250 question exam that includes hospice scenarios and metrics knowledge. Successful participants will have to answer all 250 questions correctly to pass the program.
The MVI CFO Program has proven to be an EFFECTIVE advancement system for hospice CFOs. The CFO is armed with some of the most persuasive information in the organization, the quantified facts of the business… data! The underlying reality is that the economic model MUST work. To be effective, the CFO must accurately quantify the current state of the organization, interpret the situation with predictive insight, formulate strategies, and influence others to execute positive action. The EVIDENCE of an effective CFO is in the numbers! An effective CFO can help a hospice be radically successful. A poor CFO can help a hospice out of business. Participants undergo a sequence of testing, training, and retesting until the subject matter is mastered. Participants will have 6 opportunities to score 100% in order to pass the 300 question exam which includes hospice scenarios, best practices, and measurements over the 3 days.
An Executive Business Program for CEO’s. This specially designed 2-day program addresses the unique business problems and challenges of the hospice CEO. The program puts the CEO on the same page as the Clinical Leader and CFO programs and arms the hospice CEO with a much deeper
knowledge of the
BUSINESS of hospice.

score 100% to get
your plaque
as well…
