Compensation & the Model Workshop
The Topic that Simplifies Management: A MUST for CFOs
September 26-27, 2016 | Flat Rock, NC – The Executive Conference Center
What is the #1 cost of a Hospice? Labor Costs! Since that is the case, shouldn’t you have your best financial brain working on this continually and avail themselves to what the top rung organizations do?
MVI only holds the Compensation & the Model Workshop annually, so if you want to attend one of the absolutely most powerful and value-rich programs we offer, now is the time. It is not a workshop for everyone. It is for the most forward-thinking Hospices.
100% of the Hospices that operate in the 90th percentile employ innovative and non-traditional compensation systems.
Yes, 100%! A Hospice’s most dramatic advances in quality and profits will come from movements of Talent and the compensation of that Talent. Compensation is the most POWERUL STRUCTURAL tool a manager has to create a happy and productive work atmosphere with ultra-strong Accountability. A great compensation system makes management VASTLY easier. Compensation systems also directly impact an organization’s People Attraction and Retention processes. Talent must be retained over the long-term as the turnover of Talent is the biggest destroyer of quality. A great compensation system is a key part of this! Get rid of the “poverty mindset” regarding how you reward staff! Why not pay better than the hospital or other healthcare settings when it is so doable in Hospice? Why not adapt your compensation system creatively to get the performance and behaviors you need? Compensation was the beginning of MVI as Andrew helped do this for 50 companies before even coming to the Hospice world, let alone what has been done since! It is where MVI started as a company…and it is an area we know very, very well…
Compensation & the Model Workshop Description
A great compensation system is the fastest way out of financial troubles as well as one of the most effective structural means to create a healthy Hospice culture. In this program, participants will learn to use performance compensation as a tool to foster the behaviors and results desired at a Hospice. Bring a laptop with Microsoft Excel, a clinical team’s compensation information as well as compensation information for an Indirect area.
